CALSTOCK PARISH LOCAL HISTORY GROUP
(And Friends of Calstock Parish Archive)
This group was formed in April 1999, and already has some 150+ members. It meets on the last Saturday in the Winter months at Albaston Methodist Chapel to listen to a talk given by one of the group, or a visitor. During the Summer different visits or field trips are organised. One of the main functions of the group is to support the Parish Archive. A Newsletter, called Tamar History, is published three times a year with reports of recent meetings and a brief look at news and research. At the moment, membership is £4 per annum (+ £4 post and packing for overseas members), 50% of the subscriptions being donated to the Calstock Parish Archive Trust.
Benefits of becoming a member include, a free copy of the Newsletter three times a year, 50% reduction of entrance fees to all our activities, free use of the Parish Archive at any of its normal open sessions.

Honeycombe Archive
Honeycombe Archive - though not connected with Calstock Parish Archive, has articles in it relating to Calstock, and in particular to the Church Seating Plan, to Honeycombe House and the origins of the Honeycombes (back in 1300 or so).
There are other genealogiocal and picture sections and wills, all of which might interest researchers and local people.

Cornwall Community Foundation
The Cornwall Community Foundation is very important to the Archive, they awarded us the grant that has enabled us to launch our History On The Ground Project.
